In Dungeons & Dragons (D&D), Shadar-kai are a race of Shadowfell natives, also known as the Plane of Shadow. The Plane of Shadow is a parallel dimension that exists alongside the Material Plane, and it is often associated with darkness, shadow, and illusion. Shadar-kai embody the essence of this plane, and they are known for their connection to death, gloom, and the ever-shifting nature of the Shadowfell.
